Here at Blue Latitude, we've had a pretty exciting year. Compared to this same time last year, we've grown by 15 team members, which is a 30% increase in our total number of employees! And in 2015 alone, we've hired 11 people. (Well done, Talent team!) Because we've grown so much in the last year, we'd like to introduce some of our newer senior level staff members.
Mirella has over 10 years’ experience in brand strategy, with a specialisation in creating multichannel strategies for a variety of brands in diverse industries. Since joining Blue Latitude, Mirella has been working on the Pfizer and AbbVie business. She has an MBA from the John Molson School of Business (Concordia University) in Canada.
Peter joins Blue Latitude after 13 years as a freelance user experience consultant. He brings a wealth of experience to the Customer Experience team, having worked on a broad range of projects with agencies such as Rufus Leonard, Ogilvy, and Critical Mass; he has also worked in-house with HSBC, UBS, The Home Office, and JustGiving. At Blue Latitude, Peter makes sure that customers can find the information they need easily; from planning primary research with customers through to building wireframes and prototypes for usability testing, he supports pharmaceutical clients’ strategy by supporting the customer through their journey.
Damien has over 20 years’ experience as a copywriter and creative director across a wide range of advertising and brand response projects – both consumer and B2B.Throughout his career, Damien has led projects at some of London’s most accomplished agencies, including: McCann Erickson, Saatchi & Saatchi X, HHCL, Carlson, McCarthy Bull Oliver, WDMP, Wheel, and Red Cell Perspectives (WPP). He has accumulated almost 20 UK and international industry awards – including Cannes Lions, ECHOs and DMAs. Damien has been working at Blue Latitude as a freelancer since 2013 working on branding and positioning projects across our global pharmaceutical clients.
Andy started with a PhD in Pharmacology, followed by nine years at some of the top creative agencies in London; including TBWA and Ogilvy. From local charities to global blockbusters, Andy has created copy for oncologists and GPs through to patients and consumers. He believes in turning complex science into simple ideas that engage immediately. This thinking has so far secured him 18 awards for his work.
Blue Latitude has also expanded its account handling team with the appointment of two new Account Directors, Kavita Goswami and Corinna Liebana, who come from Digitas LBi and Open Health (Kavita) and Razorfish Healthware, a Publicis Healthcare Communications Group Agency (Corinna) and will work with Blue Latitude’s top clients, delivering quality and value across all aspects of our work.
This year we have seen a strong growth in new business and we have matched this by continuing to build the depth and breadth of our team. These new appointments, from customer experience through to strategy planning, creative services and specialized medical writing skills, clearly asserts our continues growth, and enables us to deepen our offering which is increasingly focused on health. Attracting experienced professionals demonstrates the direction Blue Latitude is heading, and we fully expect to welcome even more recruits in the near future as we continue to add to our client roster. Our focus, as always, is to continue to deliver value and results for our clients.
