Designing a novel platform for an immuno-oncology portfolio

World-class customer and patient services

When we started working with this immuno-oncology portfolio, patient services were isolated and they were not used across the global organisation.

A new service had to be delivered at a lower cost, under a reduced time-frame and using proven, evidence-based techniques. The design and build also had to be centralised and built on pre-existing service ideas, while still maintaining local market engagement and innovation.

Approach

This is how we did it:

  • We defined and created user cases, requirements and a service blueprint with the core team and validated them with global and local stakeholders
  • Informed by the service blueprint, insights, validation, and co-creation sessions with key stakeholders, a storyboard was created iteratively and collaboratively, shaping it into low fidelity prototypes to inform detailed design
  • A playbook and a deployment model ensured that the platform was used effectively and the delivery of global services via local markets was efficient
  • A roadmap was designed in line with global and market priorities in order to help inform the minimal viable product launch timelines and the creation of a more fully formed platform

Impact

The project was a success, improving global to local alignment and engagement by local markets.

Having worked on this very difficult project for over a year, the prototype produced by Blue Latitude Health is by far the best I have seen
