We developed, and measured the value of, a global social media strategy for a leading global medical device company, including a resource plan and multiple pilot programmes.

Client challenges

  • The client wanted to understand the role and possible value of social media to the business and brands.
  • There was a lack of knowledge around the processes and resources required  to manage social strategy responsibly over the short, medium and long term.

Our approach

We drove the launch of multiple pilot programmes across platforms with differing objectives to test value and management processes:

  • We selected 7 pilot programmes based on cost/benefit and establishment of organisational precedence.
  • We produced SOP documentation for platform/interaction management.
  • We supported pilot owners with implementation.
  • We measured and analysed performance of programmes.
  • We created a social media strategy and roadmap.
