We are pleased to announce that Blue Latitude Health has won a PMEA 2015 award for our work with Eli Lilly and Company on the Lilly Medical Information Cascade. The project was shortlisted in two categories, and it won the Innovation award. The PMEA awards were presented at a black tie dinner at the Lancaster London Hotel last night. The awards recognise and commend excellence, best practice, and innovation in local, European, and international healthcare markets. The full list of winners can be found here.

Fred Bassett, Co-Founder and Head of Strategy had this to say about our win,

"We're thrilled to have won the prestigious PMEA Award for Innovation and see our work honoured at PMEA 2015. Strategy and innovative solutions are at the heart of everything we do at Blue Latitude Health. The Medical Information Cascade project combined SEO tactics, user-centred design methodologies, and the provision of capability training to deliver a first line medical information portal online – the first of its kind. Lilly's vision was simple - to provide direct answers to unsolicited medical questions at the point of need staying within the healthcare professionals’ work flow.  Blue Latitude Health has partnered with Lilly for over 5 years to achieve this. Our customer experience, creative services and strategic teams always look to transform how our clients engage with healthcare professionals and patients. We are thrilled to be recognised for our innovative work and the unique way we have transformed how our clients engage with healthcare professionals.  A huge congratulations to all who were involved in this award-winning project.''

About Lilly Medical Cascade

Lilly Medical Cascade is a ground breaking new way for HCPs to quickly, easily and securely access medical product information – both on and off label. Pioneered by us with Lilly, Medical Cascade is set to become the de facto standard for delivering verified medical information and is being rolled out throughout the industry, across brands and around the world. By cleverly utilising Search Engine Optimisation in a new way, we were able to create a secure online service that is compliant, and yet still provides HCPs with answers to their medical product queries in one step.

At a stroke, we eliminated the laborious, time-consuming and costly standard process which could involve call centres, medical advisers, 15-page letters, and a lot of waiting. Lilly Medical Cascade has provided a blueprint for the future of healthcare communication. HCPs can get the information they need reliably and efficiently, in an instant, while pharmaceutical manufacturers can save millions by dealing with queries online.

Thank you and well done to the team behind the Lilly Medical Cascade for all their hard work!
