After completing a Master of Science in Biological Sciences at UCL, Sarah entered the healthcare sector working as an analyst, where she led multiple annual monitoring projects.
Sarah is motivated by seeing the dramatic scientific advances from preclinical ideas in the academic setting, all the way through to hopeful commercialisation, especially for those in therapy areas where there are no other options or in diseases that are particularly aggressive. For her, it is it worthwhile if even in a very small way a contribution can be made to ensuring the correct treatment gets to the right patient.
In her spare time, Sarah is jetting around the world exploring new countries, meeting new people, and sampling new, delicious foods. She has also recently taken up yoga (though it’s very much a work in progress).
The landscape of healthcare has changed. So have we.
